Relic · Public beta branch; main branch still uses the older trigger

Regalite

Regalite's Beta v0.111.0 once-per-turn card-creation trigger, the old effects it replaced, and when the Regent relic provides reliable Block.

Quick answer

In Beta v0.111.0, Regalite is an Uncommon Regent relic. The first time you create a card each turn, it gives 4 Block. It no longer gives 2 Block for every created card, so one creation is enough to receive its full value for the turn and further creations do not retrigger it.

How the current trigger works

Regalite checks for the first card you create on each turn. That creation grants 4 Block, and any additional cards created during the same turn grant no more Block from this relic. On the next turn the trigger resets, so a deck that creates one card every turn can receive the effect repeatedly across a combat.

Drawing a card from the deck is not the same as creating one. The relic needs an effect that generates or adds a new card during combat. Before valuing Regalite highly, count the creation effects the deck can actually reach and play rather than assuming ordinary draw will trigger it.

What changed in Beta v0.110.0?

The previous text granted 2 Block whenever you created a card. Beta v0.110.0 replaced it with 6 Block on only the first creation each turn. The new version is stronger when the deck creates one or two cards in a turn, equal at three creations, and lower when an engine reliably creates four or more.

This redesign shifts the relic from burst scaling toward consistency. A single cheap creation can turn it on, but piling more creation into that turn does not increase the payout. Older databases may still display the 2-Block text, so verify the branch before planning around repeated triggers.

What changed in Beta v0.111.0?

The latest beta keeps the same first-creation-per-turn rule but lowers its payout from 6 Block to 4. The relic still rewards consistency, but it now provides a smaller defensive floor, so Pillar of Creation and other Block sources matter more when the deck creates several cards in one turn.

Treat the 4 Block as a bonus attached to a creation you already wanted to play. Do not add weak generators just to force the trigger, especially when the hand, Energy, or next enemy attack needs a more direct answer.

How does it interact with Pillar of Creation?

The first created card can trigger both Regalite and Pillar of Creation. In the current beta that produces 6 Block with an unupgraded Pillar, or 7 with Pillar upgraded. Later creations during that turn continue to trigger Pillar for 2(3) Block but do not trigger Regalite again.

The pairing covers two different shapes of deck. Regalite supplies a dependable floor from the first creation, while Pillar rewards a higher number of creations. If the deck cannot reliably create even one card, neither effect solves its immediate defensive needs.
