Pillar of Creation

Pillar of Creation's current Beta v0.111.0 Block values, repeated card-creation trigger, and its practical difference from the Regalite relic.

Quick answer

In Beta v0.111.0, Pillar of Creation is a 1-cost Uncommon Regent Power. Whenever you create a card, it gives 2 Block, or 3 when upgraded. The v0.109.0 once-per-turn restriction was reverted in v0.110.0, so it can trigger repeatedly in the same turn; the tradeoff is that each trigger was reduced from 3(4) to 2(3) Block.

How the Block scales

The current beta trigger has no once-per-turn cap. Two created cards produce 4 Block, or 6 with Pillar of Creation upgraded; five created cards produce 10 or 15. The important input is the number of cards actually created during combat, not the number drawn or played from the original deck.

Because the Power costs 1 Energy and gives no Block until a creation occurs, its first turn can be slower than a normal defensive Skill. It becomes attractive when the deck's existing actions create cards anyway, allowing defense to accumulate while the deck executes its main plan.

What changed after v0.109.0?

The v0.109.0 beta limited Pillar of Creation to the first card created each turn. Beta v0.110.0 reverted that restriction and restored repeated triggers, but reduced the amount from 3(4) to 2(3) Block. This creates a clear breakpoint: the new version rewards engines that create multiple cards in one turn more than isolated creation effects.

Community databases may still show 3(4) Block because that was the pre-v0.110 value. Mega Crit's v0.110.0 patch is the controlling source for the current public beta.

Pillar of Creation versus Regalite

Regalite now grants 4 Block only on the first card creation each turn. Pillar starts lower but triggers on every creation. At one creation, Regalite provides more Block; at two unupgraded Pillar triggers, the totals tie at 4; at three, Pillar reaches 6 and moves ahead. Additional creations widen the gap for that turn.

They are not mutually exclusive. Together, the first creation can trigger both effects and later creations continue triggering Pillar. The comparison is still useful when judging whether a deck has occasional creation or a true repeatable creation engine.
