Slay the Spire 2 is currently available through Steam for Windows, macOS, and Linux/SteamOS. Mega Crit lists console, other-platform, and mobile ports as farther-future roadmap work, with no announced platforms or release dates. There is no official Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, or Android release yet.

Current desktop requirements
The Steam listing provides separate requirements for Windows, macOS, and SteamOS/Linux. All three list 4 GB of available storage and 4 GB RAM at minimum. Windows requires a 64-bit Windows 10 system, macOS starts at macOS 12, and the Linux minimum lists Ubuntu 20.04 LTS or SteamOS 3.0.
Those requirements can change during Early Access. Check the live Steam page before buying for older hardware rather than relying on a copied requirements table.
What about Steam Deck?
Yes. Mega Crit's current FAQ directly lists Slay the Spire 2 as Steam Deck compatible, and the released Linux requirements include SteamOS 3.0. For Valve's current compatibility badge and any device-specific notes, check the store page on the Deck itself.
Is it on Game Pass, GOG, or another PC store?
The official Early Access availability is Steam on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Mega Crit has not announced an Early Access release through Xbox Game Pass, the Microsoft Store, GOG, or Epic Games Store.
Do not use the first Slay the Spire's broad platform list as evidence for the sequel. The original game is already on consoles and mobile, but Slay the Spire 2 has its own release schedule.
Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS, and Android
The April 2026 roadmap places ports to other consoles, platforms, and mobile devices farther in the future. Mega Crit's FAQ says console and mobile versions are unlikely before Early Access ends, but it does not name specific systems or dates.
That means there is no confirmed Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series, iOS, or Android launch date. Any store page or countdown showing an exact date should be treated as a placeholder unless Mega Crit announces it.
What to check before buying on PC
- Confirm that your operating system meets the live Steam requirements, especially on older Macs and Linux distributions.
- Check the store language table if you need a specific interface language; Early Access launched with 14 supported languages.
- If you need local co-op, read the feature list carefully: the current multiplayer mode is online co-op.
- If you need a console or mobile version, wait for a platform-specific announcement rather than assuming the first game's ports will carry over.
