Boss · Removed from current Main and Beta branchesThe Doormaker: Removed Boss
Why The Doormaker is absent from current Main and Beta builds, when each branch replaced it, and how to recognize obsolete boss advice.
Quick answer
No. The Doormaker is not in the current default Main v0.107.1 or optional Beta v0.111.0 builds. Mega Crit replaced it with Aeonglass on Beta in v0.105.0, then carried that change into Main with Major Update #2, v0.107.1.

Main and Beta replacement timeline
Beta players received Aeonglass first in v0.105.0. The replacement reached the default main branch in Major Update #2, v0.107.1, published June 18, 2026 in Mega Crit's Pacific time zone. Current Beta v0.111.0 continues on the Aeonglass branch.
Mega Crit said The Doormaker offered interesting small decisions but exceeded the team's complexity target and retained problems after several iterations. Aeonglass was designed as a fresh Act 3 boss rather than another Doormaker revision.
Can you still fight it?
Not through an unmodified current run on either public branch. Doormaker footage is historical: Main footage must predate v0.107.1, while Beta footage must predate v0.105.0. A video can therefore be obsolete even if its upload date looks recent.
Old advice about preparing for Hunger, Scrutiny, or Grasp describes Doormaker and should not be transferred directly to Aeonglass. Current Act 3 planning should use Aeonglass's Wither and Withering Presence mechanics instead.
What this means for old saves and guides
Major Update #2 included compatibility handling for saves that still referenced a deprecated boss, but that does not restore The Doormaker to the current boss pool. Treat a legacy save, archived run, mod, or pre-update guide as version-specific evidence—not as proof that the boss remains available now.
For current strategy, first confirm that a source names Aeonglass and the relevant branch. If it teaches Doormaker's phases or powers without a pre-v0.107.1 Main or pre-v0.105.0 Beta label, its encounter advice is outdated.
