Slay the Spire 2 Colossal Flower guide: compare the 18 HP path to Pollinous Core with the safer Gold exits.
Quick answer
In Slay the Spire 2, Colossal Flower lets you lose 5, then 6, then 7 HP to reach Pollinous Core, for 18 HP total. You can stop after any stage and take Gold instead, so the right choice depends on the relic's value to your deck and whether the HP loss changes your route.

How the event progresses
Each step deeper into the flower costs more HP. You can leave with Gold at an earlier stage, or pay the full 18 HP across all three steps to obtain Pollinous Core.
Pollinous Core provides recurring extra draw: every fourth turn, you draw two additional cards.
Is Colossal Flower worth 18 HP?
Treat 18 HP as the purchase price of the relic, not as three unrelated small payments. The relic becomes more attractive when your deck expects long fights and can convert extra cards into meaningful output.
Take an early Gold exit when paying the remaining HP would force you away from an elite, consume a needed rest site, or put the run at risk before the next reliable heal.
