Silent Shiv Guide: Generators, Payoffs and Hand Space

A Shiv plan needs both generators and a way to make repeated low-cost attacks scale. One generator is a useful attack; it becomes a direction only when Accuracy, Phantom Blades, a relic threshold, or another payoff gives the extra attacks a job.

The player question

When does Silent have enough Shiv support to commit?

The job

What this package is trying to solve

Generate cheap attacks, then make every Shiv carry damage, Block or relic triggers beyond its printed number. The package is useful only when it answers the fight in front of you; it is not a shopping list that overrides the map, enemy intent, or the cards actually offered.

01

Use the generated attacks to solve current damage, not only future scaling.

02

Play Accuracy, Weak, and defensive Powers before the multi-hit turn when possible.

03

Track hand space so generated Shivs do not crowd out Block or draw.

04

Use Kunai or Shuriken thresholds only when the attack count is reliable.

Cards and relics to recognize

Core cards

Leading Strike · Cloak and Dagger · Hidden Daggers · Accuracy · Phantom Blades

These are the cards that make the package's central action possible.

Support cards

Fan of Knives · Knife Trap · Afterimage · Strangle · Serpent Form

These help the package survive, draw, scale, or bridge into the next fight.

Relics

Kunai · Shuriken · Helical Dart · Ninja Scroll

Relics can change the value of the package, but do not force a plan that cannot solve the next combat.
How a useful turn looks: Play Accuracy, Afterimage and Weak effects before unloading Shivs. Count attack thresholds for Kunai or Shuriken and keep enough hand space for the generated cards.

Commit condition

When should you take more of this?

✓

One or two generators are self-sufficient in the next combat.

✓

A payoff makes repeated low-cost attacks improve damage, defense, or relic progress.

✓

The deck has enough draw and hand space to use the generated cards.

Protect the run

When should you stop forcing it?

Core failure mode: Collecting generators with no payoff. Extra one-off Shivs can clog the hand and still fail damage checks when no card or relic scales them.

↗

More generators are being added without a payoff.

↗

The hand is filling with Shivs while the enemy still demands Block.

↗

The next fight requires front-loaded damage that the package cannot produce yet.
